Earlier this spring Angora Static played a couple of shows here in Norway. Although nothing is decided yet, one can only hope that these two shows was the start of more activity from this great band. I have received more copies of the amazing self titled LP, but once again we are running low on this. Get it while you can. I am all sold out of the Dominic LP. Some of the other labels might have a few copies in stock and the band has a few
that will be sold on the next few shows. Somehow the postal system manage to loose 100 copies that was intended for the band,
so we ran out a little faster than we believed on this. The band is playing a few shows this summer together with Snöras (amazing live band
that features both Angora Static and Kaospilot members in the line-up) and have started writing new material
for upcoming releases. The one I've heard so far is not a letdown.

Even though The Spectacle is now broken up, Phil Elverum over at p.w. elverum & sun just pressed a new version of the rope or guillotine LP. This version is remixed and remastered and comes in a stunningly beautiful silkscreened cover. I still have copies of the original pressing in stock, but if you live in the US or want the new version i suggest ordering from Phil now. Believe he pressed 500 copies. For the collectors out there, i should also mention that the I,Fail 2xLP was pressed in a US version (different cover) on Scenester Credentials. Nice to see that the bands music continues to live, despite the sad fact that the band is no longer playing.
Funeral Diner just toured Japan for the 2nd time. The have also recorded and released a new EP themselves entitled "open doors". I might be able to get hold of a few copies for distribution here in Norway.
